1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Katalyst (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Katalyst is an AI-powered product photography platform that transforms product images into marketplace-ready content. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate, enhance, and format product images for various e-commerce marketplaces.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload images you do not have rights to use
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights
• Use the Service to create misleading or deceptive product representations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Exceed the rate limits or usage quotas of your plan

5. Credit System & Billing

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each plan includes a monthly allocation of credits. Credits are consumed when images are generated. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the images you upload and the images generated for you through the Service. Katalyst does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

The Service itself, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is the intellectual property of Katalyst and is protected by applicable laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Katalyst is not responsible for any losses resulting from the use of generated images, including marketplace listing rejections, intellectual property disputes, or business losses.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
